We're growing.
Grow with us.

Successful par8o employees have two key characteristics. First, we're solution-oriented. We're not afraid to face challenges and suggest improvements to existing processes and tools. Second, we know that in a startup atmosphere, a job description is only a starting point. par8o is growing and changing, and we want our team to be flexible enough to adapt as we evolve. This also means a lot of opportunity to try new things and grow your own skills. If this description resonates with you, read on.

Title

Patient and User Engagement Team Lead

What do you do at par8o?

“I started with par8o in late 2014 as an Operations Associate. In that position, I provided our users with technical support and made sure that all par8o referrals were acted on. The day-to-day user insight led me to the position I am in now, which is Patient and User Engagement Team Lead. Today, I focus on the user and work with multiple teams across the company to drive user success and happiness. I also help drive the support team’s 'big picture' strategy.”

What do you like about working at par8o?

“My favorite part about working for par8o is the people – smart, driven, funny individuals whom I love working with every day and inspire me to be my best.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

“Outside of work I like to go up and down mountains – hike and ski – and I make various crafts like knitted things and leather bags.”

Title

Associate Product Manager

What do you do at par8o?

“I was hired in December 2014 to help with user support and onboarding. I mixed in some analytics and reporting after a few months, and a year later became an associate product manager. Starting in support helps me a lot today because I saw a lot of where users have problems and learned the product inside-out.”

What do you like about working at par8o?

“The best part about working for par8o is probably the dogs! And of course the people, and the easy-going, fun, collaborative environment.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

“I like coffee, baking, running, and bad puns.”

Title

Deployment Manager

What do you do at par8o?

“I was hired July of 2015 as a Project Manager. At the time, anyone who worked with clients was a project manager. We realized the need for more specialized client teams in September or so, and one of the new teams created at that time was the deployment team. My manager had seen my leadership potential, so when that team launched I was promoted to Deployment Manager. Now, I focus on client product launches.”

What do you like about working at par8o?

“My favorite part about par8o is the people — they are very smart, talented, and most importantly, passionate about the work that we do! I think at a startup that’s especially important, because you really need to want to make a difference. The work is fast-paced, exciting, and things change quickly, which fits both my personality and my short and long-term goals.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

“Outside of work, I’m a crazy animal advocate! I used to volunteer a lot, before I moved to Boston. I’m all about dogs. I have a Pomeranian named Buddy and a Min Pin named Margo – they will always be my puppies no matter how old they are! I recently picked up golfing, and I’ve also really gotten into adult coloring books!”

Title

VP of Product

What do you do at par8o?

“I was par8o’s second employee. I was hired as a product manager in 2012 before par8o went live with its first project. I wore many hats, from operations, to product, to engineering and sales support. After implementing par8o with our first clients I was promoted to Director of Product in 2014, and then VP of Product in 2015.”

What do you like about working at par8o?

“I like working at par8o because I know I’m working on a ground-breaking product in the healthcare field. We're doing something that hasn't been done before. Working at a startup is fun because you get to make it up as you go, and there are opportunities to come up with technical solutions to solve really difficult product problems. My favorite part, though, is the speed at which we get things done. Our product is growing fast.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

“My wife and I are obsessed with our dog, Bonnie, who is almost always at the office with me. We are also really into food, and like hiking, skiing, and the outdoors in general.”
